A foundation for the next stage
PhoneCycle was founded to help organisations recover value from used technology while reducing waste and supporting community outcomes. By 2025, the business had expanded its focus beyond mobile phone recycling into a broader device lifecycle model spanning buyback, repairs, data erasure, responsible reuse and pre-owned device sales.
The leadership appointments supported that evolution and the company's goal of making device lifecycle processes simpler for Australian organisations.
PhoneCycle has since transitioned to Canopy. The new brand continues the company's focus on helping IT teams and managed service providers deploy, recover and responsibly manage company devices through clear, practical workflows.
