Fast, reliable repair for the devices your business runs on, so hardware stays in use longer and every device delivers more value.
How Repair works
Our Repair service runs out of our National Repair Centre in Melbourne, where we handle corporate Apple, Samsung and laptop repairs from single-device fixes through to bulk fleet batches. Every repair follows the same process, with itemised quoting before work begins and a 12-month workmanship warranty on every job.

FAQs
Everything you need to know about working with Canopy, from our services and security standards to what happens to every device.
Which devices does Canopy repair?
Canopy's National Repair Centre handles corporate Apple and Samsung phones and tablets, plus general corporate laptop repairs across major manufacturers. Whether you're managing a fleet of iPhones, a mix of Android and iOS devices, or laptops across your team, Canopy handles single-device repairs and bulk fleet batches from the same Melbourne facility.
What's covered by the 12-month warranty?
Every repair Canopy completes is covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty on parts and labour. If a repair fails within that window because of the workmanship or the part we fitted, Canopy will put it right. The warranty covers the specific repair we performed, not unrelated faults that develop later.
How long does a repair take?
Turnaround depends on the device, the fault and the parts required. Canopy confirms timing with you as part of the itemised quote, so you know what to expect before you approve the work. Bulk fleet batches are scheduled with your team so devices come back on a timeline that works around your business.
Can Canopy repair devices in bulk?
Yes. Canopy handles single-device repairs and bulk fleet batches from the same facility. Corporate accounts get dedicated account managers, batch processing, itemised quoting per device and consolidated invoicing across the batch. Whether you're sending in one device or a hundred, the process runs the same way.
What do I need to do before sending a device in?
Back up any data on the device before shipping it. Physical repair carries a risk of data loss, and while Canopy handles devices carefully, backup is the customer's responsibility. If your device is MDM-enrolled or has a lock (activation lock, screen passcode, MDM restrictions), those need to be cleared or unlocked before the repair can proceed. Canopy will flag any lock issues at the assessment stage.
What happens with MDM-locked devices?
Devices enrolled in an MDM (mobile device management) platform, or protected by activation locks and passcodes, need to be unlocked or removed from MDM before repair can proceed. This is standard for any repair partner. If you're sending in devices from a corporate fleet, your IT team will need to release them from MDM ahead of time. Canopy will confirm the device status at assessment and flag anything that needs your action before starting the work.
What happens if a device can't be repaired?
If a device is beyond economical repair, we’ll flag it at the assessment stage and recommend the best path forward. That might be replacing the device or moving it into Canopy's Recover service for secure data destruction and value recovery. Every device is accounted for, whether it's repaired, replaced or recovered.
Do you repair devices outside Melbourne?
Yes. Canopy's National Repair Centre is based in Melbourne, and we accept devices from businesses across Australia. We provide guidance on secure, tracked postage, so devices are accounted for in transit and shipped back to you fully tested and warrantied.
